Open to fresh design, Professor Machado, who teaches art history and runs a non-profit dedicated to the arts in the IE, is really critical about it, too. To assure the right design, I drew and presented 5 concepts, all of which I would’ve loved to try. Then we looked at 7 different arrangements of hardwoods, colors and grains. Nothing was left to chance. Even the side panels of the island, if the lengths of the rows look random, know that they are not. Prof created a calculus to figure it out.
