Three-legged, low-belly tray. Inspired by a vintage coffee table I saw years ago, and by the material itself. Resolved to block out one day on the calendar, grab one block of wood, and carve out something pretty, out of a single piece. Resolving to repeat. One one-piece at a time might lead to a peace movement, in the shop at least. This piece, made from an 8/4 lacewood cut-off, handcrafted and sanded to the bone, begins the movement.
